Order Leadtimes / Order Delays
1. What is your standard lead time? Our lead time for most models is 21 days. Unless otherwise indicated, your order will be delivered within 21 days or less barring any delays in customs. The 21 day lead time begins only after we have received all approvals related to your order by email. The 21 day lead time does NOT begin based on the date of receiving your purchase order.
2. Can we have the order sooner than 21 days?Yes, in many cases you can but understand that we can only control the date in which it leaves our manufacturer in China. Possible delays such as FedEx rescheduling, weather delays, customs inspections, and others unforeseen events; although infrequent, can delay the arrival of your order. Our 21 day lead time accounts for such events. So yes, in most cases we can shorten the overall lead time to a certain point; however, in doing so we cannot be held responsible for unexpected events and possible delays beyond our control. To best determine if we can meet your in-hand date, please contact your sales representation at USB Promotions. Note: Newer models, custom jobs, printed lanyards and large preloads can also expend the lead time required.
3. Will I be notified of any possible delays to my order?Yes. Should ever an event occur that would potentially affect your orders in-hand date, you will be notified by email immediately. Emails on this subject are a very rare occurrence, as we have always taken a multitude of measures to limit such unpleasant delays. We do not believe in leaving you in the dark of any problems. However unpleasant the information may be, working from accurate and honest facts is always useful. Bottom line, if you are wondering the status of your order, then not receiving any emails from us means your order is on time and on schedule to meet your in-hand date.
4. Will I be notified when my order has been shipped?Yes. A shipping confirmation will be emailed the morning after the ship date. For your reference, contained in your confirmation email will be the tracking number, quantity shipped and shipping charges if applicable.
5. Why is my order going to arrive late?In 99.5% of the cases your order is going to be late becuase of either late approvals or changes made after all approvals have been recieved and submitted into production. To avoid the vast majority of these occurances, please make certain that your client understands in advance that the 21 day leadtime only begins after the last approval has been received. If approvals are not received in a timely manner or additional changes have been requested, the client needs to know that these decisions will further extend the required leadtime in producing their order.
